Azilal rugs come from the Azilal region of the Atlas mountains. The rugs are made by the local Berber women who produce them for their own use. The rugs are hand-woven and are characterized by colorful patterns and beautiful motifs on an uncolored woolen background. Each carpet is unique and can be used as decoration on floors or walls. This one has been made by the Ait Mohamed tribe.
