Cast iron teapot 1
£70.00
This teapot will outlast us all.
Not to be confused with tetsubin—the Japanese kettles used to boil water—cast-iron teapots, or tetsu kyusu, have the same heat retention and durability as their stove-top cousins. A delicate enamel glaze inside, however, makes them strictly for brewing tea after the water has been heated, not sitting on an open flame. This teapot has been made by a traditional sand-casting process.
Also has a metal mesh tea infuser.
Made in Germany, 20.5 x 18 x 16 cm (height x width x depth). Weight 2.1 kg
