A mould for making Maamoul cookies.Traditionally eaten at night during Ramadan and to celebrate the end of Ramadan. Arab Christians eat them at Easter and Christmas. They decorate them with crosses or circles.Jewish communities in the Middle East at them at their religious festival of Purim.They can be made with ﬂour or semolina and are ﬁlled with dates and sometimes nuts.
